On-line Banking FAQsIf you are experiencing difficulties with the newly upgraded On-Line Banking, please follow these steps:
This will delete the cookies and temporary files which should allow the on-line banking to work properly. If you continue to experience difficulties after following these steps, please call us for further assistance. Q. How do
I start using Online Banking? If this is your first time logging into
Online Banking, you will need to contact the Bank about receiving a temporary
password. Once you have your temporary password, go to Online Banking and
click on First Time User. Complete the form with your personal
information and use the temporary password in the space provided. Q. What is Enhanced Security? Enhanced Security is an additional layer of security to our log in process. This helps ensure that your information is secure, protecting you from fraud and identity theft. Q. How does Enhanced Security work? The system verifies your identity in two ways. Every time you log in to Internet banking the bank identifies you, and it lets you identify the bank using a private image and phrase. Q. How do I enroll for Enhanced Security? It's very easy to use and there is no software to install. Just follow the instructions to enroll and learn about the new log in procedures for Internet banking. Q. What is an authentication image? An authentication image is a private image that is assigned to you. You must see that same image and your pass phrase every time you log in. Q. What is a pass phrase? A pass phrase is a private phrase you create to be displayed with your authentication image. The pass phrase you enter must match your authentication image every time you log in. If they do not match, do not enter your password. Start over or contact the bank for assistance. Q.Can I change my image and pass phrase? Yes. Once logged in, you can change your image and pass phrase by selecting Change Security Data from the menu. Q.Why do I have to register my personal computer? You must register a personal computer so the system can recognize that computer when logging in. If you log in from another computer, that computer will not be recognized and you will be asked to perform additional security steps in order to log in. **Note** Only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public use. |
